Chuck Anerino
Based in: Philadelphia, USA.
Chuck Anerino’s interest in photography was born in 2004 with the goal of capturing and preserving the memories of his growing family.
After much experimentation (including plenty of failures), Chuck mastered his command of the camera and began to create striking, unposed images that documented the small stories which defined his family’s life.
Using the masters of documentary photography as a driving force behind his work for the next few years, he launched The Family Photojournalist in 2009, the first online resource dedicated to Family Photojournalism.
In 2008, Chuck established Anerino Originals in response to ongoing requests from families who had seen his images. While his approach to each Family Session was unique (as each family’s story is different), Chuck’s core vision remained unchanged - Tell the Story.
Since that time, Chuck has expanded his range of work to include weddings and selected commercial projects.
In 2011, Chuck ranked sixth worldwide with the Wedding Photojournalist Association.
